    Profile:

    My research explores the history and contemporary impact of media technologies. Completed books include The End of Forgetting: Growing Up with Social Media (Harvard University Press in 2018), Adjusted Margin: Xerography, Art and Activism in the Late 20th Century (The MIT Press, 2016), and The Archival Turn in Feminism (Temple University Press, 2013). I'm also currently working on several new books, including Ghostwriting for Algorithms and Feminism and the Rise of Global Media Activism, 1880-1920.
