Lessie Vonner, BFA Instrumental Concentration ’15 (School of Jazz and Contemporary Music), is a professional trumpet player who has shared the stage with some of the world’s biggest performing artists. At The New School’s College of Performing Arts, Vonner, a Texas native, was introduced to the New York City music scene and joined a community that has helped her advance her career.
