Our unique private lesson program allows you to work with producers, editors, and recording artists of the highest caliber from across New York City. You can request to take lessons with anyone in the NYC area: professionals who are leading music forward, artists who you want to perform with outside of school, and musicians who you can build relationships with for your future career.

Lesson Levels 

1000 

In Lessons 1000 students study with select faculty on their primary instrument/voice. Students focus on technique, developing healthy practice habits, and exploring their interests. This is the introductory level of lessons. 

2000 

Students enter Lessons 2000 after passing the Lessons 2000 Entrance Jury. In this second level of lessons students can request to study with any musician who plays their instrument/sings in the NYC metro area. Students can also choose to split their lessons so they can take lessons with up to two people.  

3000 

Students enter Lessons 3000 after passing the Lessons 3000 Entrance Jury. In this final level of lessons students can request to study with any artist(s) in the NYC metro area. Students can also choose to split their lessons as well.
