Katia Lief is the author of internationally bestselling crime novels including Five Days in Summer, One Cold Night and Here She Lies (NAL/Penguin). The fourth installment of her Karin Schaeffer series, The Money Kill (HarperCollins), was nominated for a Mary Higgins Clark award. Her short story “The Orchid Grower” was nominated for a Derringer Award. Most recently she published A Map of the Dark and Last Night (Mulholland/Little, Brown; pseudonymously as Karen Ellis).
