How to Uninstall Wireless Printing Software (Win)

Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7

  1. Open the 'Add or Remove Programs' Control Panel in Windows 2000/XP or the 'Programs and Features' Control Panel in Windows Vista/7. Scroll down the list until you see an item named 'Pharos' and uninstall it.

    If prompted to select between "Run Setup" & "Run Installer," select "Run Uninstaller" and click "Next."

  2. Read the uninstallation details and click Next.

  3. Select All components, click Next.

  4. When the uninstall application has detected Pharos, click Next.

  5. To start uninstallation, click Start.

  6. The uninstallation application will begin processing. Please monitor progress.

  7. Progress monitor may alternately appears as illustrated below.

  8. When the uninstallation is finished, the uninstallation application will confirm the removal of the Pharos components.

How to Unistall Wireless Printing Software (Mac)

Mac OS X

  1. There is currently no comprehensive uninstall program for the Mac OS. On these systems you should first remove the printer from Printers & Faxes and then uninstall the Popup software.

    To uninstall the Popup software first launch the Uninstaller application in Library/Application Support/Pharos/Utilities.

  2. A list of the selected items will be shown. Select all components then click 'Continue'.

  3. A second window confirming the components selection will appear. Click 'Continue'.

  4. Type in an administrator user name and password if required to do so.

  5. The selected components will be removed from you computer.
