Noelle Kocot is the author of eight American books of poetry, most recently, God's Green Earth (Wave Books, 2020). She is the author of six other books from Wave Books and two from Four Way Books. She also has published chapbooks in Englnad, Ireland and Germany. In 2011, she published Poet by Default, a book of translations of the poet Tristan Corbiere (Wave Books, 2011). She also published a discography with Wave Books in 2010, entitled Damon's Room. She has won numerous awards for her work, including those from The National Endowment for the Arts, The American Poetry Review, The Lannan Foundation and The Academy of American Poets. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, and is the current poet laureate of Pemberton Borough, New Jersey.
