LINDA SAINT MARC
Associate Professor of Professional Practice, School of Media Studies at The New School
Linda Saint Marc is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Parsons School of Design, where she teaches graduate courses in Media Management, Brand Management, Media Ethics, and Management Capstone. She brings her extensive industry experience to her teaching, with a career spanning six continents and a focus on media business development, brand strategy, and intellectual property licensing. Her academic work focuses on how media organizations create sustainable and lasting value through strategic innovation, with a particular emphasis on the roles of brand assets, audience trust, and responsible leadership in a rapidly changing global media environment. In the classroom, she emphasizes critical inquiry, evidence-based decision-making, and professional standards of practice to support students in translating theory into real-world applications, setting them up for success in their careers. Linda is the founder and executive producer of Media Smart Citizens and Media x Women, organizations that advance media and information literacy and strengthen professional community and leadership development for early career professionals in media. In addition to her teaching and consulting work, she contributes to institutional service through faculty and community engagement initiatives, supporting professional learning communities to facilitate in-depth conversations and emerging research and scholarship in the media industry.
