Laura Jofre

Profile

Laura has been teaching English as a Second Language since 2013. She currently teaches in the Parsons ESL program and at the English Language Institute of Westchester Community College. In all her classes, she balances the formal structures of grammar and research with the practical realities of communication. She encourages students to explore English in the context of their own needs, interests, and experiences. She holds a master’s degree in TESOL from the New School and a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland.
