Jessica Coyle

Profile

Jessica Coyle has been working in the English language sphere for over 15 years, first in France and Korea as an English as a Foreign Language teacher and then in New York City after graduating from the Masters in TESOL Program at The New School in 2013. She teaches in the Intensive English Language and Parsons ESL Programs. She also works as a Speech Consultant at Baruch College's Tools for Clear Speech.

Coyle's teaching focus is based on two-way communication, with a student-centered approach that aims for connection, not perfection. As most of her students have some connection to the arts, she teaches using materials related to the design world, from gallery publications to trips to galleries. She is also passionate about making sure her students are prepared for the real world, with the presentation, writing, grammar, pronunciation, and pragmatic abilities to succeed.
