    Coe Booth

    Profile

    Coe Booth was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She is the author of four novels for children and young adults: TyrellKendraBronxwood, and Kinda Like Brothers. She is the winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and her books have been selected as ALA’s Best Books for Young Adults, The New York Times Editors’ Choice, and NPR’s Best Books. Coe’s short work has appeared in the anthologies This Is Push:  New Stories from the EdgeDoes This Book Make Me Look Fat?; and A Family of Readers: The Book Lover’s Guide to Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Coe received an MFA in creative writing from The New School in 2005.
