Profile
Caitlin Morgan is the Director of the English Language Studies department where she has taught ESL and teacher training courses since 1996. Professor Morgan holds an MA in TESOL from the School for International Training (SIT), the RSA/Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and a BA in Anthropology from Wesleyan University. Before joining the New School, Professor Morgan taught at various university-based intensive English programs in New York City and was Curriculum Coordinator at Hunter College, International English Language Institute, one of the largest intensive English programs in the city at the time. She founded the English Language Teaching Professional Development Speaker series and co-founded the NSPE/Parsons ESL + Design Certificate. Her current research interests include faculty development and exploring how visual literacy skills can enhance language learning opportunities.
