RMIT PhD Collaboration With Parsons School of Design

The RMIT–Parsons PhD collaboration offers design and creative practice research practitioners a new academic pathway to further their creative inquiry and professional options in an innovative global doctoral program.

Launched in 2023, this PhD collaboration is distinguished by its practice-based research focus, an approach that RMIT has been spearheading at the doctoral level for more than two decades. Combining the academic excellence and experience of RMIT with Parsons’ expertise in applied research practice and the opportunities afforded by the school’s setting in New York City, this new collaboration will position candidates to develop new forms of practice research in a global context.
