Media Block Image

The New School is one of only a few universities in the United States offering a five-year dual-degree program that enables undergraduate students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts in a liberal arts field and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in either music or art and design. Parsons students pursuing the BA/BFA dual degree complete a five-year curriculum (168-180 credits, depending on the chosen majors). Upon graduation, you simultaneously earn your BFA from Parsons as well as a BA degree from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.

  • Earn two undergraduate degrees in only five years of study.
  • Fully explore both an academic and an artistic area of interest, drawing on the complementary strengths of two colleges at The New School.
  • Prepare for diverse career pathways that draw on your creative capacities and critical thinking skills.
