Special Programs

Mannes has historically served as a home base for a variety of excellent musical programs which operate independently while maintaining close, mutually enriching relationships with the school.

Schneider Concerts

Mannes is home to the acclaimed Schneider Concerts series, launched in 1957 as New School Concerts, with the dual aim of providing exposure for outstanding emerging professional chamber artists and presenting high-quality chamber music performances at modest ticket prices to ensure access for all New Yorkers. Each year, Schneider Concerts presents a full season of concerts featuring the most exciting emerging chamber ensembles.
