“As an educator and artist, Glynis has been critical to the development of the BFA program over the past four years,” said Pippin Parker, Dean of the School of Drama. “We are excited to have her join the leadership team at the School of Drama and the College of Performing Arts.”

"After three years on faculty, it is a joy to be joining School of Drama and the College of Performing Arts in this capacity,” said Rigsby. “The school's commitment to entrepreneurship and social change across our national and international communities is a galvanizing response to the challenges students face in the course of a creative life. I have been so inspired by my colleagues and our students these last three years and look forward to deepening my connection to CoPA as it expands the relationship artists have to one another and the world at large."

Rigsby has chaired the New York Film Academy’s Acting for Film program as well as its BFA Acting for Film program in South Beach, Miami, since 2013 and 2014 respectively.
