Yvette Chaparro

Yvette Chaparro is an educator and industrial designer. Yvette Chaparro Studio’s clients include Restoration Hardware, Barbara Eigen, Ammara Designs, Villeroy & Boch, Harry Allen Design, Kate Spade, WickDesigns, TriCoastal Design, and West Elm. While working for the design firms Global Brands Group and Springs Global, she was the brand leader for products created for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Happy Chic, Juicy Couture, Nate Berkus (Target), Genevieve Gorder, and Diana Vreeland. Yvette has been teaching product and industrial design at Parsons since 2015 as a part-time faculty member; she has also taught at the Academy of Art University. She was educated at Pratt Institute (Master of Industrial Design) and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (professional degree in industrial design) and participated in the Scandinavian Furniture Design Programme through the University of Copenhagen’s international study program.
