    TOFUNESS
In this technology-driven world, as we grow habituated to the things around us, we gradually become desensitized. How can we design to heighten sensitivity? Tofu could be the answer. A staple food for people in Asia, it is everywhere—sold in supermarkets, offered by street vendors and food trucks, served in restaurants, stored in the refrigerator in almost every household. It is plain in color and taste, bland to the point of dullness. My project, TOFUNESS, is designed to foster sensitivity in users by bringing out and highlighting the subtle qualities of tofu. TOFUNESS is a set of tools consisting of a collection of flatware, steaming bowls, and pressing boards, all aimed at enhancing the experience of making and consuming tofu.
