Plantiful

Plantiful

Plantiful is a mobile app designed to help both new and more experienced plant owners care for their plants with confidence and ease. The app was inspired by my own struggles keeping plants alive, during which I often found online advice inconsistent, confusing, and overwhelming.

This project addresses the need for simple, consistent, and centralized plant care support. Through user interviews and research, I discovered that many people want personalized guidance but feel frustrated with paid apps and the lack of a central site of information.

My solution is an all-in-one app that uses AI to diagnose plant health through photo scans and provides care tips based on each plant’s needs. Features include watering reminders, product suggestions (like pots and soil), and a clean, intuitive interface. A matching feature also recommends plants on the basis of the user’s lifestyle and space.

The goal of the project is to offer a supportive educational site that fosters a joyful plant care experience, especially for people who want to enjoy plants but feel unsure where to start.
