Ode to Typography

In this project, I explore the relationship between written words and visual language, as well as the possibility of uniting them and expressing a passion and love for typography. The text is from Pablo Neruda's poem “Ode to Typography.” At first the poem was difficult to comprehend, but I appreciated its use of visuals and expression of affinity for typography. The poem allowed me to explore expression through style and layout and to play with typefaces. In the end, the process enabled me to understand typography in a new way. My goal in creating this book is to express my love of typography.
