Tristan Offit

Modernist Malice

“Modernist Malice” is a book about postwar American culture featuring text by Andrea Codrington. Each chapter discusses a facet of American culture, and themes of observation and paranoia, as well as the tension arising from the push toward modernity during a culturally conservative era. I created collage illustrations from found imagery, which introduce and highlight the focus of each chapter. www.tristanoffit.com .
