The Indian Arts + Design Collective is a proposal that began as a vehicle to combat ideas of extreme nationalism in India. The idea behind the collective is to spread awareness and to stand as a reminder of the diversity that shapes the nation. The Indian Arts + Design Collective's archive serves as the canvas for this. The archive consists of artworks such as architecture, photography, clothing, graphics, and so on. The idea is that every year a new artist will use the archive to curate their own collection, introducing the audience to new stories about India and reminding them to embrace the nation's diversity.
