Where were you born, and where did you grow up?
I'm Lebanese but was born in Dubai and have moved around since then. I grew up between Dubai, Istanbul, upstate New York, and Madrid.

How has Paris inspired you in your projects and classes?
Paris inspired me because of its balance; it’s a cosmopolitan, lively capital with an infinity of things to see, yet you can find the neighborhood life and your daily small local businesses. I like to incorporate this versatility and flexibility in what I do. I find the Parsons Paris community unique: Because of its size, the relationships I created with students and faculty make living in the city alone a piece of cake.

What three words would you use to describe the Parsons Paris community?
Helpful, warm, and friendly. It compensates for the stressful and demanding work of the creative industry.
