The Wheel of Law

The Wheel of Law is a performance and installation piece that aims to “reinvent the wheel,” transforming it from a transportation aid operated upon a flat plane into a kinetically rotating aerial mechanism capable of transporting its operator to any number of points in time of space: a flying dream machine. Through the exertion and exchange of oppositional forces between the operator and apparatus, the Wheel of Law unites centrifugal and centripetal forces to create the action of flight.
