Advising

As a society, we are losing our ability to connect. Our work environments are not conducive to social interaction. Social interaction in the office increases job satisfaction, emotional stimulation, and a sense of communal culture. Space for social interaction, however, is limited or nonexistent. As a result, conversations typically occur between cubicles, keeping workers seated. Or they are brief and awkward moments in passing. Offices need compact interactive resting places that facilitate water-cooler conversation and provide interactive body rest, which acts as a physical stimulant, in contrast to standard sitting or standing positions. Attachments helps address this need. It’s made of three wall-mounted pieces with precisely angled shapes to conform to a diverse range of body types and positions. Attachments’ slim twelve-inch profile limits intrusion into the surrounding space. Bent sheet metal makes the form minimal, easy to manufacture, and easy to clean, while the powder-coated interior provides a burst of stimulating color. The forms stack for shipping and require minimal installation. Attachments is designed to brighten environments while offering a practical and elegant incentive for chitchat. peterzweifel.com
