    My work is very much centered around Black and Africana culture/identity. These photographic collage pieces celebrate Black features while simultaneously challenging traditional, Eurocentric values of beauty. They embrace Blackness by exaggerating features that have historically been deemed grotesque or undesirable, making viewers confront their own preconceived racialized notions about Blackness.
