Fall '16/ Spring '17 Final Trend Forecast
This presentation is the culmination of my work in the New York Trend Spotting class, taught by Professor Alleyne. The goal was to create a cohesive forecast of trends for the upcoming year (Fall '16/Spring '17) by utilizing all of the techniques and research methods learned throughout the semester. These included magazine research, fashion week reports, color and fabric trend reports, and street-style photographs taken in various New York neighborhoods. I also made several long-range forecasts about key topics, such as the future of retailing. My findings and forecasts are organized into several key trends for the upcoming year, accompanied by a short description and visual examples.
