Water Me
The goal of this project was to create a piece in 4D media that is based on another work. Inspired by Beyoncé's Lemonade and the way she turned poetry into performance art, I decided to do the same.
The interpretation of "Water Me" can be left to the listener, but to me, it's about a woman who is insecure in her own body. Every time she comes close to feeling confident, she falls back into insecurity. She is engaged in an internal struggle, and only she can determine who will prevail. We can conclude from the closing words, "I am," suggesting that she is a god of sorts, that she was victorious in this struggle—for now.
This project is one of great importance to me, and I am grateful to share it with the world. It has helped me a lot and I hope it can help others.
