URBANxiety

Advising

URBANxiety is a residential complex designed to offer an architectural solution to agoraphobia and panic disorders in urban dwellers. Offering an alternative to treatment with pharmaceuticals, the project is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), in which problematic behaviors are modified through a goal-oriented, systematic process. By introducing vertical and horizontal gradients of interaction, the building itself becomes a vessel for CBT sessions.
