Halfway, a project that combines a halfway house and a library, is designed to ease residents’ reintegration into mainstream society. The library, which will be staffed by residents, will benefit from their experience and varied perspectives. It will offer training programs and potentially receive government funding. Halfway’s interior and exterior public spaces are designed tofoster interactions between individuals and groups in the neighborhood.
