    Designers have the power to influence thought and behavior through the construction of environments. But willingly or not, our own work is formed by these same environments. Accordingly, designers working in the same spaces influence one another by being exposed to works of one another. In parallel with this notion, design schools encourage their students to work in studios. Although each school provides studio space to its students, these studios demonstrate a small range of vision, which is limited to that school’s specific “studio culture.” This is the reason design schools tend to produce students who produce similar work. Designers’ exposure to different approaches expands their vision. The lack of a neutral collaborative site that gathers students from different schools, limits designers’ growth. What if students from different schools could share ideas and influence one another by working in a “studio of thoughts”?
