In this work, I use the planet Mars as a surrogate to think about Earth and its human inhabitants' footprint on the planet. I manufacture data and create installations based on a combination of real and fictitious information. I use graphs, charts, diagrams, and collected objects to form installations modeled after scientific research spaces. By using scientific research to establish my own theory, I revealed a narrative of the future. I am interested in combining science, aesthetics, and technique to communicate spatial information effectively. My work is intentional in its focus on the negative effects that humans will continue to have on the earth and beyond. I work with parafiction, colonization, and the idea of human nature - that humans exhaust resources and spaces until there is nothing left to offer.
