Hyperhuman Shoreline

Hyperhuman Shoreline
My painting is a large-scale window on virtual and technological space from the perspective of users. Combining imagery taken from a variety of sources, including video games, 3D asset sites, sex doll manufacturers, and anime, Hyperhuman Shoreline ruminates on moments of profound emotion and connection that exist even in hostile virtual landscapes. Using collage as a form of alchemical synthesis, I present narratives of desire and loneliness, of dysmorphia and technolust, of people searching for moments of transcendence amid infinite virtual detritus.
