Is This Your Stop?
Is This Your Stop is a data visualization piece in the form of a Web app, designed to present a picture of the diversity of New York City’s people from the inside of a subway car. The simulation takes into account actual subway ridership data and neighborhood data to provide a demographic representation of a ride on the L train, from one side of the city to the other. The work is aimed at offering a unique lens through which to view the socioeconomic differences between NYC neighborhoods.
