  • I made up this Memories

    Advising
My project is a series of drawings and mono prints that show bizarre characters interacting in surreal situations. My first drawings are based on two photographs from my childhood. One depicts an encounter with a camel at the zoo and the other an afternoon I spent playing with a duck in my dad's garden. I repeated the images to create a pattern and started adding other characters that I made up as I drew. I like to think of the process as a metaphor for memories: how much remains from the past and how much do we recreate today? What do thoughts look like, as opposed to ideas.  http://www.francabarone.com/
