Growth and Care Collective

Growth and Care Collective

The Growth and Care Collective is a pediatric healthcare clinic and community center in East Harlem that reimagines traditional medical spaces as vibrant, inclusive environments. Designed to support holistic care for children and their families, the clinic integrates all aspects of well-being—physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, environmental—into its design and programming.

More than just a clinic, the collective serves as a neighborhood hub. Seamlessly connected to nearby K–5 schools, it offers a familiar and accessible setting where care and education intersect. In addition to providing primary healthcare services, the collective offers a range of age-specific programs and environments—from urban farming and culinary experiences to physical and artistic recreation. These offerings support young people at various stages of development, enabling them to create their own adventures, explore independently, and engage socially, thus redefining healthcare for children.

The Growth and Care Collective is not just a place for treatment; it is a model for integrative, community-based pediatric care, fostering lasting health, connection, and resilience throughout East Harlem.
