  • Sub/Surface: Encounter and Domustalgia

    Advising
Sub/Surface: Encounter and Domustalgia addresses the impact of extensive time spent in the digital realm on the individual’s sense of self and their relationship to home. It proposes an approach to interior design guided by principles of perception and oriented towards the creation of body-scale “moments” that perceptually draw the individual to their home, reinforcing a relationship between person and place that is marginalized by use of the digital.
