The concept behind my collection is the cactus. The intricate symmetry and repeated patterns and forms found in some species of the plant influenced my three-dimensional draping. The textile manipulations and development were derived from the tactile surfaces found on the plants. I wanted to infuse the idea of having sculptural garments meet manipulated surfaces.
