Clémence Houédé (Sprout)

Sprout is an AR experience that lets users test out flowers in a space before planting them. The goal of Augmented Reality is to enable users to see the unseen or an expected future. When it comes to gardening, I have always thought that flower seed packaging doesn't give enough detail about the visual aspect of the plant once it has grown. I have no gardening experience and I wish there was a fun and interactive way that I could instantly visualize how my plant will develop. Because it takes a few weeks before a plant sprouts, users should be able to "try out" their flower before they plant its seed. This app will teach them about gardening and help them make better gardening choices.
