Deck of Questions
For my thesis project, I compiled 52 words, each significant to me in a different way, some straightforward, others more nuanced. I derived 12 of the words from a single word I chose to represent myself, 12 words from a word I chose to represent a parental figure, 12 words from a word I chose to represent a career path/career leader, and 12 words from a local, national, global, or social issue that concerns me.
With these 52 cards I created a deck of playing cards, each with a drawing of a hand that represents the words shown in lettered cutouts. The back of the cards is the image of the dictionary page containing that word.
