Festoon Restaurant

Advising
Festoon is a high-end Indian molecular gastronomy restaurant. The restaurant is defined by three circular geometries that intersect and connect with one another, creating continuous circulation between them. The circular loops change in size to form balconies, giving customers open views of various spaces in the restaurant. Inspired by the properties of a taco, the circular geometries are made in layers. Each layer's function changes on the basis of the program. The first layer functions as seating, then becomes back support, then a wall, and so on. Finally, to add a layer of texture and transparency to the space, the layers are modified and converted into wine shelving.
