A first-time viewer of Everything Everywhere All at Once may be left feeling confused by the end of the film. Its chaotic multiverse plot and bizarre comedy make it easy for viewers to lose track of the main story. Many analyses of the film have been written, but few include visual aids. Additionally, data visualizations of films typically analyze the performance of a film, rather than presenting a narrative analysis. My thesis project, Decoding Everything Everywhere All at Once, is a website that offers a data-driven interactive visual guide to the film's characters, themes, structure, and universes. The goal is to help viewers better understand how these elements work together to create the film and to encourage viewers to approach the film’s layered story from different angles.
