Advising
Elizabeth Street Garden is being replaced by Haven Green, a seven-story building for senior housing, designed by Curtis + Ginsberg Architects and developed by Penrose Development. This plan proposes focusing on the bottom three floors to create the perfect urban garden for dining and collaboration. The floor design includes an organic garden as an ideal Zen station for visitors to plant their meals. Seniors occupy the top three floors and can access many different activities, such as gardening with their loved ones and cooking with their friends. Garden users can give their favorite fresh vegetables to a chef and co-create their meals together in a collaboration for creativity. The space includes a performance area for the chefs to present their art on each floor level, different pocket areas for collaboration, and different ways of developing a creative environment. The design is an urban-style garden, which will be a peaceful setting, isolated from the noise and congestion of the city. The design includes three floors of nature.  See more on issuu .
