This thesis is inspired by the concept of physical reincarnation - a second life for the inanimate body. I use denim, a wardrobe staple and one of the most widely utilized garment materials, as a basis for this exploration. Viewers recognize the familiar material and can easily witness its evolution from an antiquated piece to something new and never seen before. In each cycle and each look, the denim breaks through the restrictive realm of what clothing is or should be.
