Saundra James

Profile

Saundra James has over 30 years in the fashion industry. She has worked on the retail side of the business as a multi-store manager and department store buyer. She has spent the last 25 years on the wholesale side in various senior management positions. During that time, she has specialized in women's swimwear serving as Vice President of Sales for Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren swim brands and  Senior Vice President of Fashion Swim at Perry Ellis International. Saundra has managed various teams including sales, design, production, and marketing. She has traveled throughout  Europe and Asia developing products, merchandising private label programs, and attending international trade shows.

Saundra James is currently Vice President at Piccone Apparel, founded by CFDA member Robin Piccone. In addition to her industry work, Saundra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
