Peyton Chiang

Profile

Peyton Chiang is a Taiwanese American artist and designer working primarily in sculpture, installation, and performance. His work explores how durational commitments and careful attention to the mundane can uncover the entanglements of ancestral care that link intergenerational practices of translation, craft, and archiving. Chiang co-organizes sub50projects, an independent, artist-run publishing project based in Brooklyn, NJ, and New Brunswick, NJ.

Chiang holds an MFA in Design from Rutgers University and a BA in Architectural Studies from Rice University.
