Nathan Bond is an artist, educator, and publisher whose career bridges fine arts and publishing. He taught in the Illustration and Foundation Departments at Parsons School of Design for 16 years. Trained as both an illustrator and figurative oil painter, Nathan’s studio practice explores the expressive possibilities of representation, identity, and color, and his paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally.

In addition to his work as a painter and educator, Nathan is the Founder and Creative Director of Fair Share Publishing, a children’s book publisher committed to equity, transparency, and amplifying diverse voices. Through his dual roles in the classroom and the publishing industry, Nathan mentors emerging artists and authors, helping them develop both their craft and professional pathways. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Comprehensive Youth Development, a New York City nonprofit supporting underserved youth.
