Mimi Wong

Profile

Mimi Wong is a 2019 recipient of The Andy Warhol Foundation and Creative Capital Arts Writers Grant. Her writing on art, culture, and literature has appeared in Catapult, Electric Literature, Hyperallergic, Literary Hub, and Refinery29. Her fiction has been published in Crab Orchard ReviewDay One, and Wildness. She is the Editor in Chief of The Offing, an online literary magazine publishing creative writing in all genres and art in all media. She also serves as New York desk editor for ArtAsiaPacific, the leading English-language periodical covering contemporary art and culture from Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. She is an alumna of the Tin House Summer Workshop, VONA (Voices of the Nations Arts Foundation), a founding fellow of the Anaphora Writing Residency for Writers of Color, and her work has received support from the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She graduated from New York University with a BA in English and American Literature and minor in creative writing. She lives in Brooklyn.
