Michael Challita

Profile

Michael Challita is a New York–based creative pattern maker and designer specializing in made-to-measure garments, extended sizing, and couture techniques. 

 

Michael trained at The Fashion Design Studio Ultimo, Sydney and has twenty year’s industry experience. Helping fashion houses develop their pattern language and identity, he has worked with Thom Browne, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, Dion Lee, Prabal Gurung and Patti Wilson, among others. 

 

In addition to working in development and production for fashion houses, Michael works closely with private clients, offering bespoke made-to-measure services across both flou and tailoring. An expert in garment construction and three-dimensional design, he teaches three-dimensional realization at Parsons School of Design in New York.
