Mark Randall serves as the Associate Dean and an Assistant Professor in the School of Design Strategies at Parsons School of Design in New York. He is principal of Worldstudio, a strategy and communications firm that works with non-profit and civic organizations to improve the lives of individuals and communities. Mark is president of Worldstudio Foundation, the first nonprofit in the U.S. devoted to encouraging social responsibility in the design and arts professions. A signature initiative, the Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship program has awarded over $1 million to art and design students at colleges and universities across the United States.
For eight years, Mark was the chair of Impact! Design for Social Change at the School of Visual Arts, a six-week intensive for creative professionals with a focus on social entrepreneurship and community engagement. Additionally, Mark has taught for Fordham University and Hartford University. He lectures regularly on social design at colleges and universities internationally and industry conferences, such as AIGA and HOW Mark has been an avid beekeeper for nearly twenty years. In 2017, he launched B-Line Ice Cream, sweetened with honey from his own hives. In addition to tasting good, B-Line promotes local beekeepers in upstate New York and educates the public around the critical role bees play in our lives. In 2017 Mark was the recipient of the prestigious AIGA Medal.
