Marco Scozzaro is an Italian artist, based in New York City, who works across photography, video, performance, music, and installation.
He holds a master's degree in psychology with a concentration on visual perception from the University of Parma, Italy. His work has been the subjects of solo shows at Ed Varie and Baxter St The Camera Club of New York, NY, at FMAV, Modena, Italy, and Galerie Villa des Tourelles, Paris. Group shows include Aperture Foundation in New York, Lishui Photography Festival in China, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York, among others. His videos and performances have been presented at Microscope Gallery and BRIC in Brooklyn, NY, and at Link in Bologna, Italy, among others.
Scozzaro received an NYSCA Experimental Media and Film Grant for an artist residency at the Institute of Electronic Arts, Alfred, NY, a workspace residency at Baxter St, NY, a Media Art Fellowship from BRIC, Brooklyn, NY, and an AIM fellowship from the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
His work has appeared on Artnet, Der Greif, GUP, and Osmos and his photographs have been commissioned by The New York Times, Vogue, and Wallpaper, among others.
